The original Suunto Vyper does have a user-changeable battery compartment but many of our customers still prefer our certified Suunto technicians to replace their batteries. As well as fitting the new battery kit we’ll also perform a pressure and function test that will check the integrity of all seals, not just the battery compartment, and test the critical alarms and functions.

We offer both drop-off and post in servicing with your choice of either collecting once completed or we can post it back to you. If you are posting the unit to us please remember to use a recorded method and that you also include contact details and return address information.

The turnaround for the Suunto Vyper Dive Computer Battery Replacement is 7-10 days. We also offer a two-hour express service if you are really pushed for time – please note this is subject to availability so check with us before proceeding.

Please note that due to the deterioration of batteries and o-rings we can only use our own stocks of genuine kits to ensure you get the maximum life out of your battery and optimal seal integrity. Our kits are carefully monitored and rotated to ensure our stock is always fresh.
